Hello! I am having the hardest time getting good pictures of my new hair, but here it is! I am now a bottled redhead. Some of the pictures are making some of the hair look more brown, but it is all very red, and I am super stoked about it. I seem to have a couple of good pictures thanks to all of the natural light in my new apartment. I went to Parlour on Queen West here in Toronto to get my hair done, and my stylist did such an amazing job. I love doing new things with my hair and changing the color–even if I don’t particularly like to style my hair, I like to always have a good cut and color happening.
Because red is so much work, I’ve been washing my hair less often–more like every 3-4 days now with the help of my Bumble & Bumble dry shampoo. I don’t want to red to fade too fast, so I have been wearing my hair in a top knot by the 3rd day like the picture below. It seems to be helping keep my hair looking less dirty…and I can do a top knot in about 2 minutes flat.
One of the girls that I work with was kind enough to go pick up some color depositing shampoo for me to use. The only downside is that it doesn’t clean my hair like a regular shampoo does, so my roots have been feeling kind of greasy lately. Again, dry shampoo to the rescue. The color depositing shampoo is definitely helping keep the color vibrant though!
What’s your favorite way to keep your hair color vibrant? What are your favorite dry shampoos? I want to know!
