Hello, lovelies! A couple of weeks ago I was invited to check out the Fall 2015 launch of essence cosmetics at a super fun event.
The theme was “paint nite” and they had a fun set up in a studio, here in Toronto. Of course, there was food and an epic dessert and treat table that was so cute. I didn’t want to touch anything, but I eventually gave in and had some cookies. They were delicious and totally worth it.
I wore a bright, fun color for the evening. I love the color yellow, and I went a little matchy-matchy on the blazer and shoes, but they are staples in my closet for me. I paired bold yellow color with a high-waisted black pencil skirt and a black crop top to keep the colors popping.
They also had stations set up for painting because it’s not a paint nite without some painting! They had a picture set up for everyone to replicate in their own way. It was pretty neat.
After the event, we got gifted with all the upcoming products for Fall 2015. In Canada, you can find essence products at Shoppers Drug Mart or Pharmaprix stores, and you can find them in the states at ULTA and Fred Meyer stores.
The trend that I’m noticing with these products are more subdued and natural colors for Fall 2015. There’s a lot of emphasis on the nude lipsticks, nude eyeshadows, and there’s a whole collection of nude nail polishes (secret time: one of my all-time favorite nude nail polishes is an essence nail polish).
Stay tuned for an in-depth review and swatches post on the products. It’s coming soon!
