Being a Rock Chick in Charlotte Tilbury!

intro post
Hello, my loves. Today I have a makeup look done using the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette for the eyes in The Rock Chick (you can purchase this here or in person at a Holt Renfrew in Canada). This is a pretty pricey palette for four eyeshadows, but I wanted to treat myself for my birthday (as I spoke about in my Recent Beauty Haul video), so I purchased this during the grand launch party at Holt Renfrew, when I actually met Charlotte Tilbury herself!

The Eye Look

In order to get what I paid for, I used all four shadows in this palette, and I used them the way you’re “supposed to.”

SIDENOTE: Am I the only one that feels like breaking the rules when things tell me how I should apply something–it’s my face, not a color by number. With that said, these colors really do have a scheme to them, and they complement each other in the perfect way. I think I’m just naturally a rebel.

Let’s get more pictures, shall we?

The Full Face Look

On my eyes, I have used The Rock Chick palette, a black Bobbi Brown pencil liner to tight line my eyes, and then a dramatic black mascara (Benefit They’re Real mascara in Black) to keep things rocker-esque.

On my lips, I kept it light and glossy to give it a summery vibe while still rockin’ out. I put Natural lipliner by NYX underneath a coat of NARS Chihuahua lipgloss.

Final Thoughts

All in all, I kind of wish I had picked up a second palette–not going to lie. I was going to get the Dolce Vita palette because I’m very drawn to earthy tones, but I figured that if I’m going to buy something this expensive, I should get something that I don’t already have at home. I am very happy that I stepped outside of my comfort zone, and I am already planning on my next purchase.

Have you tried any Charlotte Tilbury products? What are you currently wanting to splurge on?
